Carrick Davins Club Notes 27/02/2023

Our AGM was held last Wednesday, thank you to everyone who attended and to those who had submitted motions to our club secretary.

We heard reports from our chairman, Alan Faulkner, club secretary, Niall Ryan and treasurer, Willie O Dwyer.

This week will see a return for a lot of our juvenile teams, with football fixtures coming soon for our U13, U15 and U17s.

Training for U9 and U11 resumes this week. Please keep up to date on Clubzap. Coaches will be in touch soon if they haven’t reached out already.

Our juvenile academy returns March 6th at 6.30pm for 4-7 year old boys and girls. Learn football and hurling basics through fun and games with our experienced, friendly coaches.

Our intermediates are training hard and looking ahead to the year’s fixtures.

We would like to congratulate David Cooke and his teammates at South Tipp Juvenile GAA on winning the U15 Mick Frawley inter divisional cup final. Keep up the great work David!

Well done to Billy Murphy and his teammate Alex O Dwyer who played a Munster Semi Final for Carrick-on-Suir Handball Club. A great achievement for their club and the town to have come so far in the competition.
