Carrick Davins 4-11 Mullinahone 2-5

On a perfect evening for any sport we travelled to Mullinahone for an evening of Gaelic Football.

We raced into an early lead and had 1-3 on the scoreboard before our opposition netted on the break.

We controlled most of the possession but our opponents stayed with us until a sublime "Chip", and score of the game, from Alan Redmond saw us lead by 3-5 to 2-1 at half time.

We started the second period in the same fashion with Spud adding another goal to our tally. With our keeper, Stephen Cronin, keeping a clean sheet for the second half it was enough to see us over the line, and win by 4-11 to 2-5.

Our Intermediate hurlers will play Shannon Rovers in a Relegation Semi Final this Sunday at 1pm in Littleton. Best of luck to the players and mentors. Please come out and show your support.
