County Hurling League

Our Intermediate hurlers got their year off to a winning start against Ballingarry on Sunday last.

Davins first score came in the 6th minute as David Houlihan found the back of the net, quickly followed by a Willie O'Dwyer point from play. Ballingarry registered their first point in the 10th minute from a free before Davins responded with 5 unanswered points coming from Luke Faulkner, Lee Mackey, Pa Harris and David Houlihan. Ballingarry added a score from a free followed by their only score from play coming in the 24th minute. Davins finished the first half with 4 more points, through Luke Faulkner, Pa Harris and Ray Cooke, to add to their tally. Half time Davins led 1-10 to 0-3.

Second half was a much more even affair with both teams trading points. Davins added 5 more points coming from Luke Faulkner and Pa Harris while Ballingarry scored 5 from frees.

Full time score Carrick Davins 1-15, Ballingarry 0-08.

Our next fixture is Sunday 3rd April vs. Moyle Rovers in Davin Park.

U13 County Football Championshop

Our fixture against St. Patrick's last weekend (Saturday) was postponed. We play Clonmel Commercials Saturday 26th March in Davin Park at 10 am.

U15 County Football Championship

Our U15 Footballers start their year against Rockwell Rovers/Rosegreen Sunday 27th March in Rosegreen at 10.30am.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

As a club we took part in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Carrick on Suir last Thursday. We had a big red and white attendance in the parade and it was great to be back after 2 years. All our kids had great fun and really enjoyed the day. Huge congratulations to the organizers of the parade and all those that participated.
