Carrick Davins GAA Club place a huge focus on player development. With that in mind and to add a more structured approach to our underage teams development, we’ve created the “Carrick Davins Juvenile Player Pathway”.
This was created by the Juvenile Committee in conjunction with juvenile coach John Paul McGrath. It gives the clubs coaches, a clear and concise breakdown of what skills need to be focused on and developed through the different age groups from U6 – U16 years.
Parents can rest assured that Carrick Davins GAA Club has child development to the forefront of all that we do. Our coaches are all certified, Garda Vetted and hold the relevant qualifications, to coach underage players. Our coaches have gained vast knowledge over the past number of years through our senior coaches, Liam O’Dwyer, Jimmy Ryan and John Paul McGrath to name but a few.
We’re always open to welcoming new children to the club. If your child is aged 4 or older please don’t hesitate to contact our Juvenile Secretary Antoinette Power and she can arrange for you to meet our coaches and welcome you and your child into the club
