Our u10 team had their first outing last night, between a lot of these players playing u12 and Covid we found it hard to get this group together.

With the u12 championship coming to a close (and a great win by the young squad) we were able to get the u10s together properly under the tutelage of Mikey Cronin.

Last night they took to the field In great numbers and with Mikey pacing the sideline, the squad put on a fine display of hurling, showing all the skills and also showing grit, determination and never say die spirt which Mikey has instilled in them

All the boys and girls got plenty of game time last night and all were happy at the final whistle ( well mostly happy a lot were unhappy with the ref our own JP Mcgrath who really should stick to coaching and leave the reffing to those who know what they are doing :)

it was a great first outing with hopefully many more to come, this squad trains every Wednesday evening at 7 in the Club AstroTurf
